Surprisingly, the gravel was great today

Matt, DK and Troy pushin' up a gravel roller on the way to Valpo

The 6 AM crew rolled out around 6:20ish cuz I overslept. Sorry guys. After yesterday's messy gravel ride I wasn't expecting ideal gravel riding conditions today. Fortunately, the gravel was dry and frozen all the way to Valpo. It was all good.

Two thumbs up! Double plus good!

We parted ways with Butch in Valpo. Good luck with your new life up North in Valpo Butch! Be sure to write!

Rollin' home

Since we wanted to see Butch off this morning we headed North with a tail wind. So that meant head wind on the way home. Riding into a headwind on the way home is never fun, but luckily the wind was tame (less than 10 mph). Awesomeness.

The NW112th street Border Collie

Our Border Collie friend was waitin' for us on NW 112th street. That dog is rad. He joined us for a bit and was keepin' up just fine. Eventually she/he got bored with us and turned around and headed back for home. Good doggy.

Alright, I need a nap.

I agree. The gravel was perfect in our experience too. Have fun tomorrow guys, grandma with surgery takes precedence over a ride this time.

Yo, Daneo! Not sure on the ride time for tomorrow. There are a couple of folks that may go out around noonish (Wills and Troy). I was thinkin' about going earlier. I'll post something once I get it figured out.

I can't believe how much snow is still lingering back there, I feel guilty riding in our balmy weather that we're having.

I'll check back in the morning around eight. Feed me some details.

Alright, the ride plan is noon from D Street. Heading North for a bit.

Emily, good luck to your Grandma.

that shit hurt today. rode up to mckelvie on 1st and went over to nw27 and back thru the highlands. very strong wind. felt like an alpine summit on mckelvie with white out blowing snow and drifting. the push home was nice tho.

Thanks for riding. It is nice to have such good riding buddies! Drove home in a blizzard today. I'm going to take off from driving for a while.
