XC skiing is a blast!

Saturday morning crew!

I picked up a XC ski package on Thursday on the way home from work and couple of hours later was hitting up Wilderness with the homies for my first cross country ski experience. It was tough and I fell a lot, but it was more fun than I expected. I'm still getting the technique down, but had several "moments" during this mornings session. Now I'll be stoked to see snow in the forecast.

you're doing good on those skis, cornbread... especially given you just picked 'em up, you're really picking it up quickly. nice work.

i'm hoping to get out there tonight. it's gonna' be cold, but hopefully i'll be able to summon the motivation to be able to make it happen.

cheers,
mg

Do any of the parks up there groom trails for skate skiing? That would just be the cats pajamas.....

Yeah, it's been a fun and sometimes a bit frustrating learning experience. Practice makes perfect, or something like that.

Josh, no groomed trails. We lay our own tracks. So pretty much just classic technique XC skiing.

SDA, forecast shows possibly more snow on the way this weekend. So maybe...
