Time for a cleanin'

Normally I never go to a car wash to clean my bike, but I had no choice. I didn't want the mud to harden on my 3 hour drive home. I took me about an hour and a half to get her all cleaned up. The attendent at the car wash was pretty pissed at the mess I made. Oops. Sorry dude.

First off, it's a fucking car wash. There's a huge drain and a power washer for that ass-hole to use to clean up the mess.

Second, the guy works at a car wash. If he hates his job so much he should get his GED and maybe he could get promoted to shift manager.

Third, I was shocked to learn that ALL the pros and mechanics power-wash their bikes on the tour. Seriously. And they don't even try to avoid the bearings and seals. On more than one occassion I would pull a fork off of a bike and water would pour out of the headtube. What did I learn? Pro mechanics are hacks and pansies and couldn't fix a rusty, shit covered Huffy if you spotted them the MRX grip-shifter and the TR tube.
